Janine also provides information and digital literacy instruction customized to course needs, conducts one-on-one research consultations, assists with developing research assignments and other ways of incorporating information literacy into coursework, aids in finding Open Educational Resources (OER) and other course material, and assists with introducing technology into the classroom.
Janine holds an MLIS from San Jose State University as well as a BS in Sociology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies and a BA in English Literature both from North Dakota State University. Her professional interests include critical pedagogy, critical library instruction, data visualization, and assessment.
