Asynchronous Learning
Our asynchronous tutorials, based on concepts of microlearning and scalability, are designed to introduce or reacquaint students with concepts related to information literacy and their research. The tutorials can be used as a standalone lesson for your students to complete outside of the classroom and can be enhanced and reinforced by an application of the concept either through an in-class activity or an asynchronous activity through Canvas. Most tutorials include a quiz component that can be connected with the grade book in Canvas to record when a student has completed the module. For advice and assistance in using these tutorials for your courses, contact your liaison librarian.
