Reservable Room Policy

Students, faculty, and staff may book most reservable rooms online. Reservable study rooms and the music seminar room are located on the Stacks Level of the library. For information about each room (e.g. capacity, furniture, and technology), see the room reservations page. As these are a limited resource, you may reserve rooms for up to 4 hours each day. These rooms do not require a key, but please keep your confirmation email as proof of reservation.

Groups who want to reserve other library spaces should email discovery_access@wheatoncollege.edu at least 24 hours in advance. Discovery & Access staff will review requests based on room availability.

Guests interested in reserving a room in the Library may email discovery_access@wheatoncollege.edu. Discovery & Access staff will review requests based on room availability.

Use of the rooms is governed by the Honor Code and all students are expected to act accountably, responsibly, and respectfully when utilizing these spaces. Failure to abide by these expectations in the rooms may be treated as a violation of the Honor Code, in which case it will be referred to the Dean of Students’ Office with Student Conduct Review.

Patrons are responsible for keeping reservable rooms clean and ready for the next user. Alert staff to any messes or other building issues (e.g. broken furniture, clogged sinks, leaks, etc.) at the Information Desk in the Atrium or through the anonymous Library Reporting Form.
