Inspiration: I wanted to include Martin Luther King Jr. quotes that I think are especially powerful today with what has been happening with the black lives matter protests. I made Martin himself very colorful because I think a lot of textbooks make his photos black and white to try and make it seem like it was so long in the past, when really he was alive when many of our parents were alive or just being born. I made him cartoon-esc while maintaining his character and outspokenness.
